Prophet Muhammed’s (pbuh) Letters to Christians

Over at the Darvish blog, Irving has posted some extraordinary letters from the prophet Muhammed (pbuh) to the Monks of St. Catherine Monestary and to the Assyrian Christians.

Please visit this post “The Prophet’s Letter to Christians” to see the translations and within the comments Irving has also listed additional sources to the letters.  Please take some time and read his other posts as his blog is beautiful!

  3. ASA,

Is it possible to see the orignal “The Prophet’s Letter to Christians” ?
If so, please forward those to me or the link, also it is said, that there is a letter written to Pope of the seventh century by The Prophet (SAW), and it is still in Vatican’s vault, do you have any information or access to that?
    Thanks

    Mohammad Sami.

I really don’t know if it is possible to see the original – quite honestly I just did a search on the matter and found the translations come from these two authors: Dr. A. Zahoor and Dr. Z. Haq

You may want to see if you can get in touch with them in regards to the documents or see if Irving has anymore information.
