Winter Wonderland

December 1, 2006

Be thankful if you are in Hawaii or Australia or anywhere outside of the midwest.

Although, I have to say that my hubby watched out the window all night waiting for the snow to start so he can play with his new toy, the snowblower.  No snow last night so in his groggy state this morning he had to dig us out to get to work using his new toy (which after about 5 minutes, he realized it wasn’t that much different than his other toy snowblower).  Of course, the driveway is a quarter mile long and you can’t just snowblow the whole thing, so we had to wait for the big white truck with the plow.  But the driveway is clean for now.

Thanks everyone. It is a beautiful sight I have to agree with that, but when the snow goes it is pretty gloomy until spring.

I love looking at snow too. I live in the midwest and all I can say is, “It is so beautiful as long as you don’t have to go anywhere, your power is still on, and you have enough food to eat until you are no longer snowed in, and nobody is having any disastrous health issues in your house.

The dog has the right idea, though, doesn’t it? My “little” Ruby has been dancing and rolling and playing and having the BEST time.

healingmagichands – then you know my pain! As long as all I have to do is look at it and not drive in it!

Scooby likes to run really fast and then dive, sliding through the snow. He loves it. So do the kids.

These are nice pictures indeed. Luckily in our part of the ciuntry we did not get that much snow but it is getting colder and colder.

Lovely pics. No snow out here in GA. The dog looked like a bear. I thought you lived in some pretty dangerous country 🙂

Which part are you in Saqi?

Koonj – American by birth, Bosnian by blood. I lived in Bosnia for a year – from age 14-15. I have actually started writting about it, but have it on hold.

Part of it is posted at kaleidescope – on my blogroll – the title is For the Madrassa. If you are interested. I’m still trying to find a way to post some Illahije for you.
